Walking the dogs, that is.
Following on from yesterday’s dog walk, I took them out again this morning for a shorter walk. They did walk a bit better with a lot less pulling – Gabby better than Misty.
We managed a total of just over two kilometres at an average pace of 13:56 min/km. not too bad given that they had to keep stopping to stiff stuff and if one of them stopped, the other, thinking that she was missing out had to stop as well.
Back home, I took off their harnesses before turning around and heading back out, this time on my own.

To up my steps, I chose to do the Water Orton circuit but in reverse. Let me add that I didn’t walk this backward but in a clockwise direction as opposed to my more usual anti-clockwise direction.
I managed alright with the knee not complaining too much clocking up 5.74km at a pace of 9:56. It’s a lot quicker without the pooches !
So just under eight kilometres this morning and the knee is holding up very nicely.
I’ve had a couple of anti-inflammatories and a cooked breakfast ahead of a virtual Sunday Brunch ride with the Wobble Cycling Club on Zwift, scheduled for 11:15.
