Nearly time for what? I hear you ask.

Holiday.

After our excursion to the upper left part of the UK, back in May, we off to the opposite corner tomorrow.

This is mainly a train-themed vacation visiting a number of preserved railways that have passed us by, including, The BlueBell, Kent & East Sussex, Spa Valley and the little Romney Hythe and Dimchurch.

There will also be a visit to Bodiam Castle (National Trust) and, of course, geocaching and adLabs.

For the next week, we shall be staying in a repurposed grain silo near to Battle which, in turn, is near Hastings.

I have already booked tickets for the various trains (Sat, Mon, Wed and Thu).
I’ve got the dogs to drop at the kennels this evening and then a little packing to be all ready for departure, after the rush hour, tomorrow.
We have a stop planned for Beaconsfield services which is home to five geoaches.

We can’t get into the Corn Bin (the silo) until four so may well find another cache or Adventure Lab en route.

We are looking forward to this break – a chance to kick back and let the train take the strain.
