A bit off

I was up early enough to take the dogs out – this time for two miles down to Arran Way and back.

After breakfast (for the three of us) it was off to work (for one of us).

Post work, I arrived home and was greeted with, “Have you been to the chemist?”. I had a prescription which I’ve been meaning to pick up for a couple of days and should have go tit on my way home.

Using it as an excuse to get some steps in (I’m not back up to getting MILES in – yet) I slipped on the headphones and walked, picking up my meds and clocking up a few steps (11,381 by the end of today).

Arriving home for the second time (or third if we include this morning’s stroll) I asked if Sue fancied a pint and a Chinese. No to the first but yes to the second option.

A few minutes on Just Eat and we had dinner ordered with an expected delivery of half six.

Luckily, the meal arrived early but as I started to tuck in a feeling of, well I’m not quite sure of what, but I suddenly felt very tired.
I picked at my grub, leaving about fifty percent (the dogs were grateful for the left-over chips). At Sue’s suggestion, I went upstairs and, after a couple of Paracetamol, had a little nap.
An hour or so later, still not feeling in tip top condition, I arose and went back downstairs to witness Sue finishing a LEGO kingfisher.

Post-LEGO, we adjourned to the den for a bit of music (until Sue declared that she was jazzed out)

Then switching to the Ten O’clock News which was my cue to go to bed.
