With this morning’s dog walks added, my yearly total now stands at two hundred and fifty miles.

On the virtual North Coast 500 I have now covered four hundred and twenty three miles leaving just ninety three to go (for those mathematicians reading this, the North Coast 500 is actually 516).

This puts me on the AA9 heading South.

I have also, apparently, planted my forth tree.

Back in the real world, I have an early start tomorrow needing to catch a bus at 04:35, then a tram at 5:29 to get to Wolverhampton by around 06:00.

From Wolverhampton, I’m planning on walking along the Wyrley and Essington Canal which winds it’s way past Walsall where I will join the Walsall Canal.

Eventually, I shall find myself on the Birmingham Main Line Canal heading back towards Birmingham.

My target of twenty miles should be reached around West Bromwich, from where I get back on the tram to Birmingham before a final bus ride home.

Sunday, I’ve got fourteen miles to do so I may walk along the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal to Kingsbury Waterpark, through said park, then Whitacre Heath ending up at The Griffin for the usual Sunday evening pint.
