Usual two miler after work ? Wrong.
It was such a nice sunny day, that I decided not to waste it but to walk a little bit further – then catch the bus.
From work I walked around the corner and joined the canal network. At Bordesley Junction, I switched to the Grand Union which I followed to Yardley.
At Yardley, I did a little out and back to bring the mileage up to four miles.
As I was crossing Yardley Road, an 11 bus pulled into view which I boarded as far as The Fox and Goose from where I caught the 94.
Total mileage for the year now stands at 463 miles. On my Country Walking #walk1000miles tracker, I have now coloured in England as far north as Lancashire.
