Up early with the dogs for a mile and a bit each.
After work, I nipped into Morrisons for a few items for our evening meal. This evening’s meal would be Mushroom Risotto so I picked some woodland mushies, a bottle of dry Vermouth and some celery. The rest, I hoped, we had at home.
I also picked up some frozen scallops for a starter with some sprouts and chestnuts, cooking in garlic butter. The dairy fingers looked rather enticing so that was pudding sorted.
Sue arrived home from work to the smell of cooking. All courses were well received.
After dinner, we spent some time looking for some holiday accommodation from Sue’s birthday in April. We found a few properties but nothing with that WOW factor.
