About a year ago, whilst out walking with the dogs, we came across a new road, complete with lamp-posts and pavement, which I thought must be something to do with HS2.
I have trawled the various HS2 websites and found no mention of this road any where.
Checking Google Maps this morning I spotted a new entry located not far from the mystery road.
Eternal Wall has recently appeared so I did a search for that.
Eternal Wall has it’s own website (LINK) which describes what will be a fifty metre high monument that will be visible from the M6, M42 and HS2.
Apparently, the monument, in the shape of a giant Möbius Strip, will be covered in one million tiles representing answered prayers.
According to the website, the mystery road, which will be the main access to the site, was completed in November 2022 and couple of months before I discovered it.
If all goes to plan, apart from the wall, there will be a café and Christian book shop on the landscaped site.
