1) Nano Hell (GC725F5)
Not as bad as the description would have you believe. Once found the plastic box contained many (not quite the 300 detailed in the description) small plastic tubes, each with a slip of paper inside. However, teh log was not in any of these but in a tiny magnetic nano stuck to the underside of the box.
2) Apple Pie Lane 1 (GCAWPRV)
Our second cache was around the interestingly named Apple Pie Lane, apparently the only road by this name in the UK.
After, initially searching on the towpath, we clambered up to the road level and soon spotted something that would house a magnetic cache.
Before moving on to any more discoveries, a call of nature was requested. A nearby hostelry, The Church End Brewery tap, was selected and a short drive later we were walking through the front door.
As is usual when visiting this establishment, Sue was able to enjoy a drink in today’s case that was a pint of Stans Traditional Cheddar cider.
I had a pint of the excellent (as are all the beers here) Gravedigger.
To help digestion we had crisps and mini poppadoms.
