I used to have a treadmill at home, up in the office but when I went over to a turbo trainer for cycling had no room for both so took the treadmill into work.
With the retirement fast approaching, I need to bring the treadmill home and Sun has decided that it can live, folded up, in the cinema.
It might get some use at home as I can use the running mode of Zwift (free) using my Apple TV and the sixty five inch TV.
One problem with using the run mode (there is no walking mode) is that Zwift saves the exercise as a virtual run even when transferred to Strava.
You’d think it a simple job to switch the activity type to walk but Strava won’t allow it.
A workaround, is to import it into Garmin Connect, change the activity type to walk, export the .gpx and import that into Strava. A bit of faff but it could be worse.
