After re-arranging the office, I wanted to check that the turbo trainer still worked and that my HDMI switching arrangement worked as intended.
I started on the desk monitor, firing up My Whoosh and accepting the update. I then switched the video over to the monitor in front of the bike.
I managed to pair the turbo and my Apple Watch so was ready to roll.
Digging out my tub of saddle cream, I applied a liberal dollop to the sensitive bits before climbing on board.
With snow forecast fro this evening, I chose Artic Loop, a short 3.7 mile course and hit start.
There were plenty of other riders (nearly all quicker than I) but I managed one lap and a bit of a cool down totalling 4.1 miles.

The legs were fine and the workout recorded (on Strava) correctly. I’ll have to try a few more rides as the walking is giving me some gyp again.
