I revamped / amalgamated a couple of blogs to create this, “Rest of my Life” affair to chronicle my build up to and aftermath of my retirement.
I was quite disciplined leading up to the end of my working life and then once I’d actually done the deed – nothing !
It’s probably safe to say that I had used to update the blog at work (often in Work’s time). I was already sat there in front of a computer so I was half way there.
Now that I’m a man of leisure, I have to make a conscious effort to fire up my computer or iPad. Thinking about it, that’s a pretty lame excuse as I’m frequently checking the socials on the iPad.
It’s not that I haven’t done anything, and it doesn’t have to be much to warrant an entry (just look at some of the past posts).

Just to remind myself of some of the things that I have been up to, I had a look at my Lightroom photos and knocked up a quick montage of just some of what I’ve been doing.
The ‘highlights’ include
- Leaving Work
- Starting the Winter Village
- Trip to Wolverhampton
- Wrapping Sue’s Pressie
- Trip to Hoar Park
- Rediscovering Arduino

- Train to York
- Trip to Coventry

… I’ll have to expand on some of these AND try to keep this blog up to date.
Happy New Year.
