After starting the MyWhoosh app and pairing the various bits and pieces (trainer, heart rate monitor etc.) you are presented with this screen from where the type of ride you want to partake of can be selected.
Today, with no workout planned, I went for MyBunch

I didn’t want anything too taxing so went for 1.4 W/kg which for my weight equated to an average power of about 129 Watts – my FTP.
I started the session and settled back.
It takes a bit of getting used to to stay in the bunch. Too slow and you can fall off the back meaning a spurt to get back on and too fast you end up in front and lose any drafting.
I stayed with it for ten miles or just under forty minutes before dropping off for another half a mile or so cool down.
MyBunch is a fresh and inclusive riding concept designed by MyWhoosh, enabling cyclists of all abilities to ride together at the same time, each at their ideal pace. This unique format uses groups of virtual riders—called “Bot Bunches”—each holding a consistent, clearly defined pace for one full lap of selected MyWhoosh routes.
With 9 different MyBunch groups available, each distinguished by a unique jersey color and set speed, riders can effortlessly find the perfect match for their fitness level and riding goals.
