Of all the statistics presented on the geocaching website is the find rate or how many caches have been found each day on average.

Team Balders’ rate has been stuck teasingly close to one per day for ages.

This evening, I knocked up a simple spreadsheet which reveals that of now we are one hundred caches shy of having found that elusive one per day.

We are on holiday until next Monday (driving home) so have five days to play with. If we find TWENTY ONE caches (including Adventure Labs) a day we will reach parity on Sunday.

Thereafter, we just need to house keep with seven caches a week (or more to create a buffer) to maintain our hit rate.
