Continuing on from my Windows instal on top of my Mac OS, I am still unable to get the 3D slicing app to work. I think that it may have something to do with the video drivers.

Anyway, I had a good bit of new from the tax man in the form of a little windfall so to continue my Windows journey, I found a little PC on a popular auction site and put in an offer which was rapidly accepted. Over the next couple of hours, I received notifications that my prospective Windows machine had been packaged, dropped off and was on it’s way. In fact, according to the Post Office, it is due for delivery tomorrow.

The machine should come with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office installed and activated. I’ve made a list of apps that I have running on my mac that will need installing. These include (in no particular order) …

Once Sue had returned from her weekly ‘girls do lunch’ outing, we drove out to our daughter’s to make use of her big garden. Since packing up the tent, a week or so ago, we have been driving it around in the boot of the car until a suitable day when we could erect it to give it a proper clean and re-proofing. For most of last week it was just too hot to be messing about under canvas but today’s forecast was dry and warm – perfect drying weather.

We spent an easy couple of hours cleaning and applying new waterproofing before sitting back to admire our work whilst the canvas dried then it was all hands on deck to squish the tent into a form that would fit into the bag.
