Continuing with the walking drive, I arranged with Sue to pick me up from The Griffin to where I would walk. The earlier rain had stopped and once up to speed soon warmed up.
I walked through Water Orton, Gilson and on to Coleshill, crossing a swollen River Cole before cutting the corner to reach Blythe Road.
From Coleshill, I followed the main road to Shustoke where I made a little diversion around the village before returning to the main road.
Just before reaching The Griffin, I passed a few festive lights so had to grab a selfie.
Not as fast as I used to be (I’ve been out of it for too long) but still managed an average of 14:43 per mile.
