This morning I / we were up early enough for a loop of Arran Way before work.
On the way home, I stopped off at the pet shop (where Sue works) and swapped cars so that my vehicle (complete with dog guard and carpet protector) was at the shop for when I walked the dogs over to meet Sue from work.
At around half four,, I got the pooches into their harnesses and set off for another couple of miles.
Not the same route as this morning but our across the green ‘fields’ of Parkfields under the setting sun.
We covered two and a bit miles arriving a couple of minutes before Sue finished work. With the dogs secured in the back we drove home and decided to nip out to The Griffin for a swift half (or so the saying goes).
As I was supping my ales I began to feel the symptoms of a cold affecting me. This is not surprising as Sue has been suffering from the same for the past week or so. If I’m coming down with the same, I just hope that it doesn’t last so long.
